"Reaching Hire" Assembly   Lesa Evans, founder of Reaching Hire, was the speaker at a recent Bowman High School “Reaching Hire” assembly. She currently works as a staffing/recruiting professional with over fifteen years of recruiting experience.  Her clients range from small entrepreneurial shops to large corporate enterprises including Disney, ABC, Wells Fargo, Citysearch, Safeway Stores, Countrywide/Bank of America and Pixar.  Above all else, Ms. Evans deeply believes in empowering young adults to approach employment opportunities with motivation and inspired self- confidence. Reaching Hire is a program designed to help young people learn the steps and methods necessary to secure employment and work successfully.  Surprisingly, recent statistics show that the national unemployment rate for young adults ages 16-24 is over 25% – more than double the average for experienced professionals and higher than the rate during the Great Depression. http://www.reachinghire.com/
