From the desk of Principal Robin Geissler,

As the end of the school year draws near, I am inspired by the dedication, commitment, and vision of the Bowman community of learners.  This year, Bowman students, teachers, and staff have indeed changed the world for one another. None of us will ever be the same because of the rich experiences we have shared.

From our recent Prom with Valencia High School to our record-breaking Awards Assembly, to our very successful Open House, to the arduous schedule of STAR and CAHSEE testing, to the upcoming Day of the Artist and Poet, and amidst the “fast and furious” preparations for graduation, during all of these events, student interactions have supported an atmosphere of mutual respect and the celebration of differences. 

Visiting classrooms and talking to students this week makes me incredibly proud of Bowman students. You are a strong, compassionate, and wise group of human beings surrounded by an equally compassionate and wise staff. We have all learned a great deal this year from one another! 

Author Louis L’Amour wrote,  “There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.” Let the conclusion of this year and the lessons we have learned from one another define a meaningful future.  Move forward to your “new beginnings,” and claim your success!

Success doesn’t come to you….you go to it.
