It is one of my favorites and typically, a big hit with the students as well. The main focus of this unit is learning how to participate in games and challenges by using skills such as cooperation, teamwork, following the rules, and demonstrating good sportsmanship. The rock climbing wall is also part of this unit, however, students do not have to climb unless they choose to. It is completely voluntary and it will not affect their grade if they decide not to do it. A permission slip is required in order to climb and needs to be signed and returned no later than Friday, March 1st, NO exceptions.
