Be a part of the Placerita Student Store
The Placerita Student Store is designed to give our students a thorough understanding of how a small business is managed and operated. We do this by teaching life career/job skills which include:
retail transactions, basic banking, customer relations, cash management and inventory maintenance.
In addition this store serves as a year round fundraiser for ASB. We provide the campus with healthy State
SB approved snacks and beverages. Our store also provides small school supplies such as pens, pencils,
and notebook paper
Students work on a volunteer basis.
Elective course opportunity for 8th graders. Drama production & student store / Student Sevice.
During this student service elective offered only to 8th graders, students will partivipate in the
basic task of operating our Student Store. Our students will learn all the same basic skills mentioned
above plus be involved in the purchasing, banking deposits and promotion of the store. In addition of the students will participate in the Theatre Productions as the production crew. These
students will create basic sets and costumes for our production. The students will also get hands on
experience in lighting, sound, and makeup artistry. They will be an important part of all our Theatrical Productions.
