Food Day: Thursday, April 24th is another of Saugus High's quarterly food days. Various foods will be sold before school, during lunch, and after school, including Cinnabon cinnamon rolls, Panda Express orange chicken, Kona Ice, pizza, and much more!
Grad Night Ticket Sales: Grad Night tickets are currently on sale in the ASB office through Friday, April 25th! They are $120 with an ASB card and $125 without.
Festival of the Arts: Saugus High School's Lit Mag will be hosting the 2014 Festival of the Arts on Friday, April 25th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Saugus High School. Admission is free, all are welcome, and everyone in attendance receives the 18th edition of Saugus High School's Literary Magazine The Centinel, again, absolutely free! "Pass It On" Event: During this week will be pre-registration for the "Pass It On, Like Neon. A Path to Kindness" event. If you are considering participating for extra credit (and free stuff, too), pre-registration ends Friday, April 25th by the end of the school day. Registration is $10 for a team of 2 and goes up to $15 for a team after the 25th. You can pay with cash or by check. Please make checks payable to SHS-Students Matter and submit forms to Mrs. Meza.
Black Light Prom Rally: The Black Light Prom Rally will be on Friday, April 25th. The rally day schedule can be seen here (link to PDF).
Health Science Guest Speaker: On Friday, April 25th, Dr. Mark Barraza will be on campus at lunch in X2413 to speak to students about careers and experiences in chiropractic medicine. Health Science Career Pathway students should plan to attend but all students interested in the field are welcomed to attend.
Prom 2014: Saugus High School's 2014 Prom, "The Phantom's Masquerade," will be on Saturday, April 26th at the Cerritos Performing Arts Center from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The promenade will begin at approximately 4:30 PM, and will take place near the outdoor stage and in the gymnasium. If you are attending the Prom and need a corsage or boutonniere, please see Mrs. Varela in the ROP office in the counseling center.
Spring Dance Show: Come to the annual spring dance show Colors on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd at 7 PM and see the national champion Saugus Dance Team perform their award winning dances! Also performing will be the award-winning teams from many other Santa Clarita Valley high schools, as well as various dance studios in the area. The show will be held in the gym, and tickets will be $10 at the door or $15 for both nights.
Athletic Physicals: In order to participate in Saugus' Summer Athletics Camps and all sports for the 2014-15 school year, athletes must be cleared with a physical, completed by a licensed physician (not chiropractor). Saugus High will be holding physicals for athletes for $25. They will be taking place on Tuesday, April 29th in room A102. This physical exam covers the athlete for the summer and the entire 2014-15 school year. The classes of 2015 and 2016's physicals will begin at 4 PM and the classes of 2017 and 2018's physicals will begin at 5 PM. Checks can be made out to Dewey Pillai, MD.

Yearbook Sales: Yearbooks are on sale in the ASB Office for $85 — cash only, first come, first served. Get yours today! They will be $100 during May’s distribution.
Energy Saving at Saugus: In 2012, several solar panels were installed in Saugus High's parking lot. They have been collecting and providing Saugus with large amounts of renewable energy that help both the campus and the environment around it.
