Parent News:

Congratulations to the 2014-2015 Plainsman Press Staff, who earned a first place award from the American Scholastic Press Association.  In their letter of congratulations, the ASPA representative said, “The professional attitude that is needed to produce an exceptional newspaper is evident in the newspaper issues from your school that have been entered in the ASPA’s Annual Contest and Review.  Congratulations go to all who helped to make this a wonderful example of how the students have reached the highest standards of news reporting.” Click here to see the list of schools and where SVJH ranks among them all (look for Plainsman Press). Notice that they are listed right along with colleges and high schools in the same category of first place! To see our latest edition of the newspaper, go to svplainsmanpress.weebly.com.
